In February the quantity of official contracts on real estate was reduced meaningfully. In comparison with February, 2016, the same month in 2017 showed the 9% reduction of these transactions.



This decrease is generally the consequence of the 13% drop in Paphos real estate transactions quantity. The fixed entire number of these deals was 87. The greatest volume of these deals was fixed in Famagusta. The slump reached 46% – only 19 deals on property were recorded.

Lately the official sources inform that Larnaca and Nicosia real estate contracts volume was marginally dropped as well. In Nicosia 8% less of new owners moved to their property (73 deals), while in Larnaca the similar transactions quantity was reduced up to 7% (100 deals were registered). The quantity of transactions with Limassol real estate fell up to 1% only (totally 177 deals were registered).

However, comparing January and February of 2017 and 2016, the progress in transactions with property this winter reached 6%. 879 real estate deals totally were fixed.
