Dismissing the biss is the way to increase the demand on property

Industry authorities tell us that one possible way to defend foreign investors to have property in the island is the new law, empowered by the Government, demanding to obtain title deeds from the government itself. Moreover, they say, that this law can revive and restore the interest of investors to buy property on the island, hence that will make an incredible impact on the economy of Cyprus and increase its investor’s attraction. That’s just because most investors have intrinsic interest in obtaining such official title deeds. Owners, who were actually caught to the trap by such mechanism will strictly meet the demand of new loans, the truth is that you cannot borrow money without the title deed. Hence, there is no other way, all possible solutions lead to the only one approach.

Consequently, new records have shown that quantity of international buyers who came to issue the title deeds increased to 210, approximately 14 percents comparing to the last year statistical reports. That lead to vast increase in purchase transactions issued by the investors in property to the amount of 1884, the growth rate was 4 percents. Specialists involving in estimating the value of property tell us that new law is an awesome deal to accelerate the demand and attract new perspective owners to the market despite all the difficulties occurring in modern economy. This is unbelievable, however this is the process most of us were waiting for so long. Actually, this is not refer only to professional assessors, but to owners too.

One of assessors tell us that this is the perfect deal where everybody champions, this can not only be seen in property investments, it can involve public and state financial resources and influx new money, which is truly the blood of the economy. These are not all the opportunities, awaken by new law, we will see further developments after some time. Definitely, increasing the trades transparency gives help not only to honest investors, but it helps the overall country of Cyprus to grow.
