In Q1 2017 real estate prices rose up to 4.1%

Constantly studying prices on the real estate market of Cyprus, specialists working in the statistical service of the country recorded in 2017 general rise of the houses and apartments costs. This year the average price of real estate objects increased up to 4.1%. The first quarter of the year pleased potential home buyers with reducing the houses cost up to 1.4%.

In late Fall and December of 2016 the largest increase in prices for Cyprus real estate objects amounted to 3.3% – experts compared the data for 2015 and 2016 years. The extreme growth in prices for apartments, villas, private houses and commercial real estate was observed in the last three months of 2016 (up to 0.8%).

The staff of the Cyprus Division of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors convinces the Cypriots and each one interested in houses’ cost that they have different information. According to their data, which became available in May 2017, the end of 2016 was marked by a certain boosting in the cost of housing in Cyprus – up to 3.3%. However, prices for apartments and houses were growing slowly, but constantly – about 1.7% over three months.



According to the official information got from Central Bank of the country, the growth in the value of housing in late Fall and December, 2016 amounted to 0.3%, but through the year the real estate objects prices decreased by 0.9%.
